How to Make Clay Dough 

Easy-to-Make Recipe

What you'll need: 
1 C. flour, 1/4 C. salt, 2 T. Cream of Tartar, 1 C water, 1 T. cooking oil, food coloring (optional).

Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly until very sticky. Take off heat, remove to counter top. Knead with small amount of flour. Let set until cool. Store in a covered container in the refrigerator. (This clay-dough is not toxic and can be ingested.) 

Use the clay dough for a variety of craft and playtime options. Use it to make Christmas ornaments too using our Chrismon-Kids patterns.
