Did you know that each Old Testament feast or festival finds its fulfillment in the
New Testament?
Yeshua (Jesus) celebrated the following eight
biblical
feasts:
Old Testament = OT / New Testament
= NT
1. Rosh HaShanah (Sept. / Oct.) -The Feast of Trumpets, teaches about Messiah's return.
(OT: Lev. 23:23-25; Nu. 29:1-6)
2. Yom Kippur (Sept. / Oct.) - The Day of Atonement, teaches about reconciliation between God and humanity.
(OT: Lev. 16; 23:26-32; Nu 29:7-11 / NT: Rom. 2:24-26;
Heb. 9:7; 10:3, 19-22)
3. Sukkot (Sept. / Oct.) - The Feast of Tabernacles, teaches about God's dwelling with people.
(OT: Ex. 23:16b; 34:22b; Lev. 23:33-36a, 39-43; Nu. 29:12-34; Dt.
16:13-15; Zec. 14:16-19 / NT Jn. 7:2,37)
4. Hanukkah (Nov. / Dec.) - The Feast of Dedication, teaches about commitment to God.
(NT: Jn. 10:22)
5. Purim (Feb. / Mar.)
- The Feast of Esther, teaches about God when we can't see him.
(OT: Est. 9:18-32)
6. Passover (Mar. / Apr.) - The Feast of Unleavened Bread, teaches about God's deliverance.
(OT: Ex. 12:1-14; Lev. 23:5; Nu. 9:1-14; 28:16; Dt. 16:3b, 4a, 8
/ NT: Mt. 26:17; MK. 14:12-26; Jn. 2:13; 11:55; 1 Co. 5:7; Heb.

7. Yom HaBikkurim (Mar./ Apr.) - The Feast of Firstfruits, teaches about the resurrection of the dead.
(OT: Lev. 23:9-14 / NT: Rom. 8:231 Co. 15:20-23)
8. Shavuot (May / June) - The Feast of
Weeks or Pentecost, teaches about the "birthday of the Body". (OT:
Ex 23:16a; 34:22a; Lev. 23:15-21; Nu 28:26-31; Dt. 16:9-12 / NT:
Ac. 2:1-4; 20:16; 1 Co. 16:8)
