Class time activity: Ask
children to think of scary words or things that scare them. When you
say go, have them shout them out loud.
(Continue)
"Oh my those are scary words, but there are much scarier words in
the Bible than those, and Jesus said them! Let me read them to
you."
Read Matthew 7:21-23 from a child-friendly Bible.
"What do you suppose we must
do to keep from being sent away from Jesus? The Bible tells us we must
turn from our sin and turn to God. We
are to say with our mouths, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in
our hearts that God raised him from the dead."
Distribute
tract: "To remember Jesus' words, take two or more of these tracts,
keep one for yourself and give some to your friends."
Place
orange paper in your printer. Set printer to "BEST"
setting, then click here to print the tract in its proper layout form. You will need to fold tract into quarters.

Inside
of tract
reads, "Those are scary words, but NOT the scariest! The scariest words are,
...I never knew you: depart from me...(Matthew
7:23)
That's what Jesus will say to those who don't trust him as their Savior and Forever Friend.
If you don't ever want to hear those scary words, then here's what the Bible says you
MUST do,
"Turn away from your sins. Turn to God." (Acts 3:19) and "Say with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' Believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead. Then you will be saved."
(Romans 10:9)
