"But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness,
faithfulness, gentleness and self-control." Galatians 5:22-23

Bible point: The Bible says, "Love your neighbor as yourself." The Spirit of God makes it possible for us to show love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control to those we meet each day. Notice that the Bible says, "FRUIT," not "fruits" of the Spirit. The "Fruit of the Spirit" has many parts, but it is one work of the Spirit. In essence, it is a description of Jesusí character. Before we can have Jesus' FRUIT, his character, displayed in our lives, we must have him living in our hearts and lives. Godís promise to us is this, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved" Romans 10:13. Ask Jesus to save you and then change you to become more and more like him, and he will do it!
