1) Lessons for teenagers?

Do you have anything for teenagers?

--from SSTN: we've devoted a section in our affiliate bookstore to teen resources. Check it out at:

2) Laundry Day Game

i have a small Sunday school class of 4 girls....

i have a clothes line in my class room...i took pieces of different color material, and made skirts, shirts, pants, overalls, shorts, socks, etc. all just flat...or you could use construction paper...

they have the questions written on the clothes....like: WHO MADE THE WORLD? "GOD"

(IN THE BASKET OF CLOTHES PINS THERE ARE WORDS WITH ANSWERS ON THEM THEY HAVE TO HANG THE GARMENT WITH THE CORRECT CLOTHES PIN.....THEN WE CHECK TO SEE IF THEY ARE CORRECT. I HAVE OVER 40 PIECES OF CLOTHES THAT THEY HANG AND THE GIRLS LOVE IT! ITS A TIMED GAME AND EACH WEEK I WILL ADD CLOTHES WITH QUESTIONS FROM OUR LESSON.)

I really enjoy your web page...

3) Fortune Teller Circus Lesson

Try adapting the fortune teller by putting 'God Knows' or verses under the flaps rather than the usual 'yes/no/maybe' answers. As for the object lesson, perhaps just show pictures of 8 ball, Ouija board, etc., including ads in paper for psychics, etc. rather than using them or having someone dress up and pretend. This will help them recognize the
worldly sources people use so they can avoid them and contrast them to the Bible/God as the source.

--from SSTN: you might also include a story on what happened to King Saul when he consulted a fortune teller.
See 1 Samuel 28:8ff and 1st Chronicles 10:13. See also Acts 16:16
-18.

4)
 Christian Duck, Duck, Goose game?

I found a variation of the duck, duck, goose game some time ago, but now I don't remember where or how to play it! I think it would be great fun for our kids at VBS! Does anyone know the Christian version???
Thanks In Advance,
Diana L Herdt

--from SSTN: This game can be applied to just about any lesson. For example, "Moses, Moses, Pharaoh" or "David, David, Goliath". But I would warn you that for older kids, 2nd grade and up, it is probably not the best game choice, because, "a rose by any other name is still a rose" and "Duck, Duck, Goose" or it's variation, is well-known by kids to be a younger child's game.
