Christmas Joy

Helen Setser, longtime subscriber to this newsletter, sent in the following Christmas poem. Helen worked many, many years in children's ministry and is a contributor to several of the resources contained within our website. Helen is retired from ministry now, yet despite her many health issues, she is going strong at 93 years young! Thank you, Helen, for your faithful service to our LORD and to us!

Enjoy Helen's poem, Christmas Joy:

That day He was still in His palace

Where everyone served Him with joy;

That evening He came down and entered

The body of Mary's small boy;

He lived thirty-three years among us

Showing His wonderful love,

Died on the cross for us sinners,

Arose and has gone back above,

But He's coming again with great glory

And we will forget earthy things

When we see Him and bow down before Him:

Lord Jesus, the great King of Kings!
